He has compiled a record of 71-50 over the past eleven seasons at Elmore County. Under his direction the Panthers have qualified for the playoffs a total of five times. The Panthers open the 2016 season at home against non-region opponent Montgomery Academy on Friday, August 19 at Burt-Haynie Field. Last year the Montgomery Academy Eagles finished with an overall record of 9-2 and in first place in Class 3A region 3. The Eagles lost in the first round of the Class 3A playoffs to Hillcrest Evergreen by a score of 35-7. Elmore County and Montgomery Academy have met a total of 4 times on the football field.
